Let's be honest here anybody who sees what is going on in Washington and doesn't think the culture of disaster is contagious is delusional. The Washington Redskins should be 6-1 right now, the have lost two games because of defensive collapses in the fourth quarter.
So if you defense has not been able to hold your opponent to field goals in the fourth quarter when you are unable to run out the clock what do you do? You bench the QB. Yup that dang QB can't cover anybody in the secondary, can't get any pressure on the QB and can't stuff the run. I mean looking at who they are trying to work out (jamarcus russel, yes Oaklands jamarcus russel) claiming anything other than for some out strange reason trying to alienate your QB is a stretch right now.
I mean you'd do better just saying "hey, we feel the team isn't where we thought it would be(tied for 2nd in the division right now) so we are just gonna start our rookie QB for the rest of the season." You'd get the 0_o face from people or the >.> but at least you could claim some kinda plan for the future, I mean Mcnabbs not under contract so having a Rook who was sitting behind him waiting in the wings and start to prepare him for next seasons challenges that at least makes a little sense.
Not Jamarcus russel though, this guy couldn't handle it in oakland, and if claims are to be believe blew up to close to 300 lbs this off season. You claim it was a cardio issue with Mcnabb, so you get the guy completely out of game shape. You claim mcnabb didn't know the two minute drill well enough, so you work a guy who doesn't even know your offense. Now if the issue is you weren't expecting to win this fast, or have to be playing with the lead in most games say so. Maybe you thought "hey get the old QB we'll still suck, we'll get a high draft pick and I can mold him into my leader of the future". Which as coach of the washington redskins most would see that as an honest assessment of your situation. Because for the better part of the last decade they've been horr.... Hmm what word that starts off with those 3 letters best describes the redskins of the '00s you know what all of them. Type in horr in websters and ever word that starts off that way describes them.
So you start the season off first tied for the division lead and then tied for second, and you bench the QB. Yeaaaaaaaaaah are you sure you ever coached before cause that don't sound too smart. To top it off as it was defensive miscues that have killed you, your soon to be EX QB has the resume' of making you relevant until you decided to become captain ego. Cause you don't think he's gonna stay after being treated like this do you?
First you get caught being a tool to a defensive aquisition then you take a pedigreed QB, one who has accolades under his belt, one who brings a winning attitude and work ethic to you and you bench him. Yeah good luck with thos future contract negotations, you're gonna get dinged with the tool penalty til you leave, "yeah I need an extra 2 mil a year to deal with his ego, yeah that's non negotiable. If you don't like it I will leave and take less money elsewhere" and I know next year is a potential lock out year, but ladies and gents you do not want to be the team that nobody wants to play for because you have the ego maniac coach. It takes years for teams to recover from that player mentality. It's okay if you are winning(say like Bellicheck) and it's your philosophy and methods that have lead to the turn around, but when it just looks like you're trying to prove you run the team and it's your way or the highway minus the results, nobody wants to deal with that.

Blah
Yeah I ain really feeling it today. I'm not even in a blogging mood today I said some things on ply but past that I'm not really inspired yet. I got a few blogs in draft I need to put the finishing touches on. Possibly wax poetic about some anime's or something.
Oh for my twitter folks its #thickthongthursday for those who don't know what that means(which would probably be everybody on my blog and not apart of my twitstream) that would be thick thighs and thongs (starts with Th like thursday see ain we clever). Now of course I ain been saying much on twitter I've been doing more blogging lately(okay that's a lie I've been doing both this week has been slow tweetwise but that's it). My info is on the contact page. I may add new ways to contact me in the future just ain sure yet(yeah like anybody is checkin for how to get in touch wit ole primal).
This is sad here I am uninspired and I still got a scroll bar next to me cause I've been rambling on about nothing(told yall I was random). For those that don't know how us Capricorns can be I may be talkative but I'm moody as I warn folks once I head into the abyss if you don't head me off I will stay there. (Love my wife for that) Butanyway(squiggles gonna have a fit with that word, yes I torture them and? My blog, my crazy way of doing this check previous blogs) again for now this is a blase' day, if it improves, takes a turn for the erratic whatever I may spit another one of these out. This makes my second blog for the day so I am keeping up content productivity and even hit ply up(without cussing much 0_o I know weird right). Running around doing system checks right now if I find any pics of folks around town the I can use I MAY post them on top of a blog. Right now the only blog with a pic is the one about deadpool(comic was awesome by the way pic both up either in issue or trade like me).
Oh its almost new phone time, I'm thinking of staying with the crackberry so at least for now all my bbm buddies will still see me right where I am now. Of course with no laptop I can't transfer all my stuff over so I may have to send out my new BBM pin. Need to either buy a new PC or a new laptop anyway. The good about the new phone is hopefully it will be faster with fewer glitches. The bad is now I will have to copy all of my notes over yay me.
So its Thursday everybody have a great day and tomorrow let's get ta sippin on something. I guess I'll bed this one til further notice, on to editing, possibly adding some HTML and definitely adding tags. I may try and find a way to be able to auto update my comments but we shall see.

Its Hump day, the course has been altered but the sea stays the same
Its Wednesday November 3rd 2010. If you lean liberally as I do right now you are licking your wounds. You are wondering what you could have done more of, where you didn't get the message out and why has the system forsaken you.
Now that I've given you that moment to lament, look at what day it is. Yup its hump day, the day you have to push through to get over the hump and make it to the weekend. It is also the day we MUST learn from our mistakes. We got into mudslinging contests with people who were under the misconception that we were scared to get dirty. Problem is we then proved them right by trying to stay above the fray.
This CAN NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. We fooled ourselves we acted like we didn't see what it was gonna take for us to keep moving this country forward. Is the taste bitter enough in your mouth yet? As much as I am a Marvellite when asked how I see america I will always say batman. Some say superman, but we are not invinceable save for one element, we are not all powerful and we are not from some alien world being mild mannered until a crisis comes along.
We are not spiderman, we do not get beaten down in the beginning only to go back think up a solution, whip up a new specific batch of web fluid and head out to kick some tuckus. We don't have a its all on us comples either, that if we don't hold on no one else will. Nah sorry spidey is a little too sensitive to be america.
What about wolverine, well one he's Canadian so um no. But two at least for the moment we are no longer "the best we are at what we do". 30 years ago I might have conceded that, now I can't we've allowed ourselves to become complacent, preachy, whiny and self righteous. Huh? I don't understand right.
Why we(America) are batman: We prepare for any eventuality and have a million tools, gadgets, vehicles, uniforms and connections/outlets from which to attack an issue. But we are hard liners, we will do what it takes to get the job done but in our ideology we are absolute. This is OUR COUNTRY, keep your problems out of it or we will deal with them expediently and how we see fit. You may think us extreme at times but the methods will work, whether the outcome is the one you would have sought is not our concern.
What we do is our solemn duty for those who came before us. Maybe when we lost them we were not strong enough, wise enough or resourceful enough BUT NEXT TIME we got something for you. You may not beat us but you may be able to distract us and get away. If you do we will raze everything in our path to find you and exact our revenge. Allies, friends, associates, dependents we have a job, the job is everything, NOTHING stops us in completing our job. We have contingency plans in case we are delayed or incapacitated.
If we ask for help it had better either be prompt or else we will go on without it.
Right now Democrats are being too much bruce wayne and not enough Dark Knight. We are being to friendly with those who possibly may have a similar goal, but its focus is sharper and more defined to a certain end. We have only be playin even with them instead of 3 steps ahead. That now has to change. They run a portion of the legislature. Time to see exactly how badly they want to double down.
Democrats in the house need to start suggesting bills and holding town halls. Every teeny, tiny, insignificant constituent concern needs to start becoming their main talking point. MSNBC better be on speed dial and CNN too. Go on fox from time to time and berate their hosts. Become a face to the people in your district and around the country. Make the republicans have to govern, make them proved that 100% of the american public is their concern not just the top 2%. And the senate is going to have to grow a backbone. As a few key blue dogs are gone it is now time to unify the party and say "the american people want results, they want to see them, they want to know the process upon which we reached them, and they want to know we fear for our jobs". No the republicans can't just throw anybody up against you, but they can smear you on TV they have proven to be wizards at that.
It is time to have a mudball waiting for them so you can throw back. You want to dirty fine, let's get dirty let's see how dirty you are willing to get for America. Their constituents are being fed by fake emotion, and false messaging. Show the true concern and urgency and shine a light on the messaging. The more we expose the loony, unhinged, specious side of some of these arguments we have lost, not because we lacked the facts but because we tried to have a political conversation with a liar. WE tried to explain away their lies instead of making them prove it.
We made them show us the money this campaign season and it took bucket loads to knock of the ones they did. And that's a good thing, because now there is a real, tangible cost in their mind of how much that job cost them. They will either govern wisely and we all benefit or else they will continue their pattern of intimidation and disruption and have spent 7 figures for a 2 or 6 year job. That's hard to swallow for someone SUPPOSEDLY business savvy ya feel me.
Make taking the house from us worth every penny, force them to work the bill on every level and make sure every T is crossed and I dotted. Because remember that energy they road is was ANTI incumbent and at the time each house had D next to it. And they beat us up 24/7 for that, well now its time to go ahead and remind America how hard it is to govern regardless who is power. When you lead extremists the first person in danger is always you because sooner or later their irrational desires will become demands.
And they have shown the lengths they are willing to go to get what they want. GOOD, I want that fire under tea party elected candidates buns because it means the ranting and the raving they did again us will be pointed at them now. Right at them, and if you think they hate democrats, remember how they were treating "Rhino's" oh they will have a field day.
Yeah its a good day, may have a few lumps, bumps and bruises but my legs still work and I can still see my destination on the horizon. Who's coming to join me

Less heavy fare
Has anybody noticed as of late that the folks doing a lot of the major voice over work lately are actual big name actors in the prime of their careers. Megaminds is coming out this weekend and its like wow Brad Pitt and Will Ferrel, really? Aren't these guys like swimming in live action movie deals? But over the last say 6 years I have noticed that a lot its like hey, its easy, its fun the movies are actually about some decent topics why not.
And I don't mean heavy cgi flicks as those can still be partially or equally live action and usually end up to HOPEFULLY be a big blockbuster. I mean I guess shrek and pixar really started something. We actually enjoy watching animation again(which I feel is a good thing) and we don't need an "oh its just for the kids" excuse(well I don't, some of yall might still be a little embarassed and skittish). Granted that begs the question will I go see it, meh I have no earthly idea, I just remembered seeing the ad for it last night and it made me think.

Dc one house forclosed, one saved and one confounded
Election night is mostly over and unified Democratic control of Washington D.C. is no more, the Democrats have lost the house because they allowed their opponents to control the conversation. It's funny the Dems didn't run from the questions, they did have answers but they allowed the other side not to answer the exact same question. I get it yes you can't be the same pugnacious, punchy high spirited guy or gal in DC that you were in your own back yard. And yes to be honest the house is the one governing body that is not as much a bellwether but a reminder of the party you just went to last night. The house because it is up for reelection every 2 years tends to be an emotional contest a game of "What have you done for me lately".
To be honest in that game republicans always win, not because they do the job better but because when given the keys they slam the pedal to the floor and appeal to our baser nature. When it comes time to clean up or do the work they may disappear but when it's magic time when it's time to capture peoples imagination and hearts with some old fashioned hocus pocus they have that down. While it was not the greatest health care reform bill it was a health care reform bill,. it did provide for the American people, and the democrats did pass it. As sad as it may sound politics is one of those jobs where you really do have to toot your own horn. No the stimulus wasn't big enough, it was handled in a manner that some(read the president) had hoped would bring everyone on board and together, it seems Mr. Obama forgot who leads the republican party. Now no Obama did not fail but the road will be harder, I'm sure there will be claims of the senate not being that important(unless somebody can convince joe lieberman to switch sides then it will be all about how they have the president by the snardlies), which is a lie but the question is are the games over, are we gonna go back to America being for Americans or has the first shot be fired, now in control will those republicans especially those closely tied to the Tea party decide that Washington should sit on its hands and do nothing, let their darling free market fix it all?
I have never been anti republican just anti stupidity, I fully recognize there have been good and bad leaders on both sides, but back then we at least respected each other. Now lets be real I already know nothing sells tickets like furniture moving the old cliched "don't hold me back I'm gon kill em"(all the wall using the persons body to shield you from an on coming potential attack) for a time teh charge would be to call you a loyalist(to the english of course, the country not the language), then of course a confederate, a commie, a socialist, a flip flopper, a tax and spender, a --hawk(war, deficit, budget whatever). P's are always passionate:politics, patriotism, pornography, purpose. So as much as we MAY have respected each other before we sat down at the table it was on, now though people are being miseducated instead of being told to calm down now we have work to do, people are encouraging the crowd. They are asking for more anger, more intolerance, more idiocy instead of thinking the best of your fellow man its always a series of "how can I best insult you and thus myself best?" I'm an American born and raised I may have a year round but I "my country tis a theed" and "I pledge allegianced" like every other young child and I was proud to say the words because I believe in them, yes as I got older I began to notice some folks forgot (or maybe never had to say hell the pledge really isn't as old as I thought) those words, in times of major crisis we may stand together but give people a few days now and we will be back at each others throats.We have gone from "this land is your land" to "get off my land or I'll shoot", we've gone from people who remember the pain that intolerance and hatred can cause to people who celebrate inhumanity openly on t shirts and in songs. Now yes if it is meant to be comical it MAY be funny(it could still piss someone off and that's their right and you just have to accept not everyone likes the joke) but usually it isn't meant to be funny but to be hurtful and invoke reactions of fear, pain, or submission.
Now yes this is supposed to be when I say "But we as Americans do not BOW to that type of TYRANNY", thing is when you are all alone and not sure that I or anyone else will stand with you how many will risk it all for an ideal that many feel has passed them by? And that is sad, as I said in the previous post as children we made a compact with each other "ONE NATION under god INDIVISIBLE with LIBERTY and JUSTICE for ALL, call me a ham but those words still move me, as does the national anthem. The anthem is always better live though when you are there standing as one with your fellow americans, and you don't all look alike and you didn't all start from the same place but you may have ended up there. Sometimes I think we need to hear the national anthem together as a group just so we can remember at the end of the day WE ARE ALL AMERICANS, not Republican, not Democrat but Americans. We may not share mother, father, skin tone, blood line, month of birth, year of birth, state, city, or timezone but we share nationality. We are Americans when did that stop meaning something.
I'm not gonna lament losing the house not because it isn't important but because those guys are the other side are still Americans, and while they may not have impressed me with their last stint in charge, my fellow Americans believed at least for one house of congress these are the people they wanted to run that house. They wanted to restore a check in the system of checks and balances that they felt was out of whack. Fine, my side drug its feet and we have been summarily reprimanded for it. As I said after the 08 elections on multiply time to roll up our sleeves and get to work.Unemployment is too high, we have a deficit and we must keep our country from becoming obsolete, read those words again OUR COUNTRY because that's what it is, I know there has been a lot of talk from some that THEIR country is gone like they don't see the rest of us here, like somehow they think that only THEIR concerns are valid well they have made their voices heard. But now it is time to put up or shut up, you claim to have such grand plans for where the country needs to go and you have a bigger voice at the table the time for talking is over.

Now yes if it is meant to be comical it MAY be funny(it could still piss someone off and that's their right and you just have to accept not everyone likes the joke) but usually it isn't meant to be funny but to be hurtful and invoke reactions of fear, pain, or submission.
Now yes this is supposed to be when I say "But we as Americans do not BOW to that type of TYRANNY", thing is when you are all alone and not sure that I or anyone else will stand with you how many will risk it all for an ideal that many feel has passed them by? And that is sad, as I said in the previous post as children we made a compact with each other "ONE NATION under god INDIVISIBLE with LIBERTY and JUSTICE for ALL, call me a ham but those words still move me, as does the national anthem. The anthem is always better live though when you are there standing as one with your fellow americans, and you don't all look alike and you didn't all start from the same place but you may have ended up there. Sometimes I think we need to hear the national anthem together as a group just so we can remember at the end of the day WE ARE ALL AMERICANS, not Republican, not Democrat but Americans. We may not share mother, father, skin tone, blood line, month of birth, year of birth, state, city, or timezone but we share nationality. We are Americans when did that stop meaning something.
I'm not gonna lament losing the house not because it isn't important but because those guys are the other side are still Americans, and while they may not have impressed me with their last stint in charge, my fellow Americans believed at least for one house of congress these are the people they wanted to run that house. They wanted to restore a check in the system of checks and balances that they felt was out of whack. Fine, my side drug its feet and we have been summarily reprimanded for it. As I said after the 08 elections on multiply time to roll up our sleeves and get to work.Unemployment is too high, we have a deficit and we must keep our country from becoming obsolete, read those words again OUR COUNTRY because that's what it is, I know there has been a lot of talk from some that THEIR country is gone like they don't see the rest of us here, like somehow they think that only THEIR concerns are valid well they have made their voices heard. But now it is time to put up or shut up, you claim to have such grand plans for where the country needs to go and you have a bigger voice at the table the time for talking is over.

You cried
You pretended you were getting mistreated.
Okay now they have given you a whistle that you can blow you're out here on the field too now, lets see if you can actually help us get things back under control

Its Election Day here in America
Its kind of funny, elections were like this foregone conclusion when I was younger, or maybe I was just naïve. I mean I understood the principles our fore fathers died to build this country for us, they set down rules for how things were supposed to work.
In my young mind EVERYBODY accepted this solemn charge passed down by those wise men who shed blood almost 9 score ago(yup we've been a country for almost 225 years man are we young). This is of course if my memory serves right and a score is 25 years. And even they said we were not yet perfect so they made provisions so that if we really felt PASSIONATE about something then we could add it to our constitution.
I'm an adult now and I see that maaaybe we all didn't pay attention in social studies. And possibly we skipped Mccarthyism is history. Because we are no longer looking at each other as americans with differing opinions or approaches to the same goal (a brighter future for america) it seems on BOTH sides some really do see each other as traitors. People not to be trusted because SOMEONE ELSE tells you not to trust them. The america I read about of principled thinkers has devolved into a culture of hatred and vitriol. And why, because somebody PAYS for it to be that way. I can disagree with you and not question your patriotism, I can ask questions without having to face questions about my allegiance. I am an american, I was born in these United States like all of my classmates I said the pledge every morning.
To some that isn't good enough, to some if I do not swear allegiance to their ideals I'm not a real american. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are commie traits. For me to freely speak my mind is socialist. Now no its isn't fascist for you to speak your mind about your dislike of taxes or extreme regulation. But if when you get done talking its take the ball and go home(especially if it isn't your ball) that's not american.
Then we have others who feel it is unnecessary to vote, their voice won't be heard so why bother, I mean part of that quote from the Declaration of Independence definitely means if they so choose hey you ain got to vote, it's your vote if you wish it to say None of the above by not voting it is your right. I do not agree with this viewpoint but it is a valid viewpoint if I believe as I claim I do in the vision of our fore fathers, we are all types and we except all types. That has gotten lost as of late because people have become of the mindset that it is my way or the highway and my way is absolute, yeah not here nobody's way is absolute. It is one path of many, as long as you TRULY wish the best for our nation we will all end up in the same place, if it is only about hatred and distrust we shall all burn together.
Okay this is getting a little heavier then I originally intended so:
I'm hoping EVERYONE(I don't care about your affiliation) was able to safely get to their local polling place and vote. That there were no incidents, and that the violence of the last few weeks is over and done with. Today was a day in america, tomorrow will be a day in america and I hope that people remember that. I believe america is stronger than even the worst governing body. As long as her people are willing to work together, granted as of late THAT has seemed like a naiive view.

It's monday
Everybodies favorite day of the week. I had a messed up weekend but hey bad times happen to everyone. I haven't touched a controller in like 2 or 3 weeks so I'm rusty as hell. And no blogging was not the cause of it, a broken TV, and two siblings with no consideration for anybody elses schedule are. I mean I could have played last night but I just wasn't in the mood.
Like I said I've had better weekends it just seemed like this weekend me and money were like oil and water. Just couldn't come together, now while part of me wants to bemoan and lament my ill fortune it will do nothing to improve it. It was an expensive lesson learned and I really ain too keen to repeat it, but life happens you deal, you grow, and you prepare. Anything more and you're just giving yourself false confidence.
Seems to be a fair amount of bad luck going around so I don't feel especially targeted I just feel like Hannibal King in blade trinity, when the rottweilers walk around the corner. Yeah, that line, all day, just sit there and enjoy that feeling for a second. By the way, there's no window, no ledge, no bar you can jump and hold on to to avoid the gaping jaws. Nope just you and 3 hounds from hell. You're unarmed, you've just had your head kicked in for about 4 hours, and this already wasn't you day. Your choices are simple are you gonna give them the balls or the cheeks cause they're coming.
Went to a few of my favorite movie news websits this weekend saw some scans for Captain America, news about transformers 3(they've been awfully quiet about Thor lately), read a few comic reviews and basically vegged. Site one is Think Hero twitter and site two is Geektyrants twitter. Now as I'm mobblogging this I have some editing to do it seems that E-mailing in a blog blogger/blogspot doesn't like my html editing(and it didn't suck my tags were right for once I think) so any and all tages have to be added on my PC. As of course the brunt of the work was done on my crackberry I'm leaving the tag along the bottom that says as much.
So glad I decided to think ahead and leave them as drafts. Drafting these bad boys allows me to add tags, clean up HTML, add videos or pictures. I've also been adding new widgets and toys to my blog to add functionality, hopefully make it more user friendly and possibly drive traffic. Meh drive traffic, I don't know if I really want to do that. I'm a free spirit for the most part somedays in my head I still like to relive my old underoo days super heroes fantasies, just as a break from the monotony of my erratic life.
By the way yes that last bit will stay in there, I kinda like this picture of myself I have painted here. Its probably the fullest picture I have ever allowed myself to paint minus the profanity. I'm like a road map many different ways to get many different places. I can be funny, akward, moody, demanding, opinionated, passionate, flirtatious, fragile, unbending and compromising. I'm me no other way to put it, anyway lets bed this bad boy before I really get my ramble on you want some good sci-fi and movie sites the two groups up top are among the best. You want supreme randomosity well you're already here.
