Afternoon Ponderers

Seems like I have been getting a nice amount of traffic lately and I want to thank all who are coming through. I know I disappeared again but lets just say I had other things on my mind besides blogging. I know I talk about whatever but some days you just want to keep it moving and not get too deep into the details. So that's what I did, let's see what I have noticed lately welp my Eagles are sucking right now, I'm talking Dyson sucking, 3 quarter Car Wash sucking. It would be okay if the offense was stalling a little since you know Mike Vick is out and all, but our defense has forgotten what the word meant. We let RG3 slice us up, a rookie I mean come on Rookies used to hate having to play Philadelphia because their main view was gonna be turf. I understand that yeah maybe Juan Castillo wasn't aggressive enough for some people but he's been gone for a couple of weeks now, whats the new guys excuse. This is Philly you want us to give you some breathing room:Blitz, Blitz some more, Blitz one more time and if the so happen to get the first down, Blitz them again. They have a mobile quatertback let's see how fast he really is. Let's see how accurate he can be after he has been sucking wind for a quarter trying to evade the blitz.

It's November, the stretch run

Yup it's time to put away your scary or silly costumes and turn those jack o lanterns into pies. Another year is coming to a close and for many it has been a hard bitter journey. Before it ends though it is of course the time here in America to prepare to give thanks for all we have had, seen, done, those we have known, lost and will never forget. Depending on your outlook on life this is either a somber or joyous time, hmm I guess it could be just like any other time. I am talking about my personal bias when mentioning somber or joyous but then what of those who either don't celebrate, have no one to celebrate with, or else it isn't even their holiday?

For me it's about family, good food, usually pretty good memories and a time to reflect. It also happens to be the time before my mother and I's birthdays(Ancient lady, she was mentioned in the LTBL post), so usually it's pretty up beat time of year around these parts. Plus you get great food: Turker, Sweet potato pie, Mashed Potatoes(love potatoes any way ya serve them), candied yams, cranberry sauce, stuffing. Man the dishes about to be placed in front of us in a few weeks are going to be awesome, not that my life is ever all fun and games but really if you do not put the good times versus the bad in perspective you will always have problems.

I had so much on my mind when I started this blog earlier in the day and got side tracked, so this is where I will end it a quick update and so Holiday wishes.

Can I get out of this "Funk"

Being a HUGE Parliament fan, I have no Problem with FUNK. Personally I need the FUNK, I am always down for the FUNK, but it is the 18th day of June and I only have 10 entries added to the total so far(over 100 for the year though) and I've only gone to see one movie, that ain pimpin. To make matters worse I haven't exercised in weeks, I am starting to resemble something a certain green muppet is known to rest on, possibly sitting in a pond, with moss growing on me. Why I'm off kilter like this is anybody's guess am I not used to the environs of my new room yet possibly, as the saying goes heat rises(save it seems in the playoffs but hey first year together you made it all the way to the finals and a Game 6 with a young coach and a team EVERYBODY not in the city of Miami hated, not bad) and this room is often quite warm but I've blogged in the heat before so meh probably not a good enough reason. While I have been tweeting, tumbling and everything else a little bit I have been somewhat absent from those worlds at times too, yes I am having the same technical difficulties with my Vaio that I complained about previously so that is part of it, hell while originally beginning this post my damn Firefox crashed for no apparent reason.

First using the "official" Blogger app

Now I read the reviews, I know "glitchy" is supposedly an understatement when it comes to this app, I saw maybe two positive reviews. Most said it locked up, it mirrored pics, it crashed, it wouldn't publish. Basically by most peoples estimation it was "crap"(and that is being nice) but hey some apps work for some and not for others. But hey its the "official" app and hopefully its just like the official wordpress app(which I love) because that gives me some functionality that "Blogger-droid" lacks.

Today is hopefully a movie night, we'll see though, gotta see when I get done working. I'm also thinking of buying my "address" it seems .com is in use, which sucks but some others aren't, granted SOME of the site names were less than palatable. Its like" O rly" these are the "site names" you have as alternates, wtdta on some of them. I'll put them on WP so y'all can laugh too.  Well this is really another "digital toy" update waiting on the Boss so I can melt in the heat again (yay me).

Actually it went from hot to drizzly this is becoming super awesome day, aiight let's bed this and see what happems
