First controlled flame day of the year

Well for me anyway, today was BBQ day, no special reason other than it got nice around 12 o'clock. Cleaned the grill last night, ate breakfast, gave it another once over and then SMOKED MEATS. Yes yes, there is nothing quite like the relationship between man and grill. I guess if I'm talking about it I better show it huh

T-minus *bleep, bleep, bleep*

At the moment I am starting this post I have 6 hours 53 minutes before I plan to walk and go see The Hangover 2, this is important because I STILL have yet to write the KFP2 review. It's started(well I have the title and the first line, though I may change the title no make that I am definitely changing the title) and I want to completely have every last word written before I go see the next movie and get on the clock for that review. I also need to clean the grill today, I may not stoke the flames tomorrow but I need to be prepared for it just in case. Especially if the weather is nice, what because of all this annoying weather we have been having down in the midsouth lots of rain and win, very little sun it's hard on a charcoal enthusiast(Nothing against you gas heads, I just like the conquest of just getting the coals to stay hot and lit, completely personal) to get his fix of soot in his facer and good smells in his nose.

I still need to go out and purchase a new grill, I really do envision some side by side action, one grill fired up for the burgers, dogs, chicken sausages and pineapples possibly even the pounded chicken breasts. The other for the ribs, maybe some brisket,  little shoulder me, my parents and siblings(except for the girl, we have crazy nicknames let it go) may be on a pork light diet but the rest of my southern relations are of no such compunction. Plus as I NEVER saw my chicken last year at the family reunion I would like to have more than one dish available so that I can track it as well as taste my own food. Luckily I had gotten a few pieces before the pan disappeared again, the chicken breast bandits strike without mercy, I'll get the empty pan back but if I don't make sure I stake my plate out first I will be a non chicken breast eating sole. I also have a few tricks I want to pull out this year POSSIBLY, I have just over a month before the contest and still no grill these are big plans for equipment I don't have yet.

Man am I sleepy

I actually sat down at this desk last night prepared to do the review of "The Warrior's Way" and I was dog tired. I couldn't do it so I will do it this morning. Now I fully admit that I came up with the title for that blog while in the theater, it is actually the opening line for the narration. I would have been pissed if the movie sucked, but it seemed to foretell an epic tale(which it did). So yes my everyday blogging streak has been broken finally(well technically as I did finish the "trailers" blog after midnight during my walk so truth be told I did do A blog on saturday but not by my usual standards. Saturday was a boring day though without much to report or even make me "giddy and bloggy". So no blog for yesterday proper. Sokay I've still got a pretty good clip going.

Hope everyone is enjoying their sunday(I of course could sleep in for the majority of the day because my team played on thursday so no football for me and I wouldn't be mad for missing anything.) and I hope all got a chance to rest for the upcoming week

My plans for the day

It's Sunday(I have the date tucked away up top so I'm not gonna post the date in blog) I was planning to watch football, do the Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows blog, and play black ops but it seems we have the night game so I guess I'll play black ops and do the potter blog first. No biggie at least I know I will be able to watch the game since it's sunday night football and as it's for the division lead it's a pleasant surprise from where I expected us to be.

Not to poach from the potter review but I liked the movie, I appreciate that they are FINALLY giving the story the time it needs to properly develop. A lot of the previous LONGER Potter books kind of got truncated in hopes of fitting the "directors vision" and supposedly fitting in to the audiences attention span. People have watched long movies before, if they like the subject matter and how you treated it they will sit their butts down and watch the movie. Hollywood needs to remember this, we watch long presentations all the time, the important thing is to keep up entertained. That's Hollywood's sole job and many times a job it is clearly deficient at.

Anyway off to play black ops, I got myself in a bit of trouble last night because I went a little crazy with the cross bow, okay a lot crazy I think I had like 15 or 20 sticky's last night, I had one sequence where I killed almost the entire team with bolts. Needless to say sometimes you have to be aware of your surroundings and if you see the guy next to you die, MIGHT wanna turn you head and see if somebody is about to rape you from the back.  I thought it was funny so I uploaded the sequence.

Now it was a COINCIDENCE that the last two shots were but shots, no offense but if I'm firing a crossbow bolt the main thing I want to connect with is somewhere it will stick. So anywhere along your back is fair game, my brothers have been joking that my last 10 game heat map has a lot of crotch shots in it, hey I stay crouched down and sometimes people fun into leaden death. Crossbow bolts usually catch your leg though as I fire them. Now if I EVER decide to break out my sniper rifle my head shots will go up It's just hard to catch a head shot with an automatic rifle sometimes small target lots of kick. Even when your ADS(Aiming down the site) bullets can go astray.
