In this life, there are 2 rules that must not be broken

Rule #1 Every Marker must be honored

Rule #2 No blood will be shed on Continental Grounds

John Wick, the Baba Yaga the Boogie Man. When we first met John Wick he was a simple man. He had recently lost his wife, and in an attempt to help John recover his deceased spouse, Helen, had him sent a dog. A small, cute, and playful puppy. It was not easy, but John came to love that puppy for it was a connection to the women he loved, until one fateful day when he went to the store and met a young Iosef Tarasov. Iosef liked John's classic 1969 Mustang Mach 1 coup. Iosef is the spoiled son of a Russian Mob boss, he does not hear no often so he asked John how much for the car of which he was told "No Deal"

Iosef should have accepted that answer, because the night he broke into John's house, knocked him out, stole his car and killed his dog would have deep repercussions. It would also cost Iosef his life, many of his father's henchman their lives, and his very father's life. All because he stole the car of a man with a dog, or should I say the Devil. Because the car he stole belonged to the retired underworld hitman John Wick, a nightmare feared by all EVEN Viggo Tarasov. Before Viggo meets his untimely end, John checks into a hotel in New York called the Continental, an apparent Howard Johnson's for the criminal elite. They give him a car, a 2011 Black Charger LD we will get back to this car Later

Helen is dead

Iosef is dead

the puppy is dead

Viggo is dead

So where is John's car?
John Wick Chapter 2

A man on a motorcycle is tearing across the streets, looking back and forth when the loud roar of a hemi is heard in the distance. Apparently this crotch rocketeer has pissed somebody off, the driver of the car(which we later see to be a black Dodge Charger) is relentless, when the rider slips through a red light he hooks a hard left, tears around a corner, makes a hard right and somehow catches him in time to knock him off of his motorcycle. A door opens and a pair of expensive black shoes, under black slacks can be seen walking towards the body,  a man bends over and takes something from the downed riders pocket before getting back in the car and drives off.

Cut to a garage, we see men collecting money and organizing it, hiding gold bars in oil drums, stacking coins on trays, apparently in a rush. We hear a man walking upstairs and knocking on a door, he is invited in by Abram who is sitting in his chair looking nervous. Abram Tarasov looks like a man having a bad day, his second in command asks, "are we truly getting rid of all of it, due to one man?" Abram lights a cigar, looks at his second in command and says, "My nephew stole a car and killed a dog." Looking puzzled his second asks, "all this for one car?" With ragged eyes he explains, "My nephew is dead, my brother is dead all because he stole the car and killed the dog of John Wick." The second in command is no longer incredulous, "A car which we have in our inventory" the second in command now drops 5 pounds into his shorts. A man in a black suit is seen walking up to an electronic panel in the garage, and pulls out the metallic plate that was taken from the motor cycle rider, he waves it in front of the panel then enters quietly. A silent shadow walks behind several henchman dispatching them in silence, one is killed by a garrote wire, when his killer steps in to the light we see John Wick. John walks around a corner to a row of cars under tarps, he pulls one back to reveal his 1969 Mach 1. Slowly opens the door, silently closes it and searches for the keys, they drop from the driver's side visor into his lap. He looks around before cranking up the Mach one and taking off out of the garage, he appears to be taking it through it's paces when a man with a motor cycle pulls up and starts shooting at him. After a few moments of trying to evade him John sacrifices his door to dispatch him, then a car crashes into him, at first he was trying to leave, but NOW NOW somebody has to pay for the damn damages to his car, and John Wick does NOT want money.(I will discuss the rest of what happens here on Wordpress)

Cut back to his house in New Jersey, John pulls up the driveway with what is LEFT of his Mustang Mach 1 beaten, bloody, and walks through his door. He slides to the floor where he NEW dog greets him, to which he scratches his ears, pours him some food and says good dog. John lays in bed and allows "good dog" to lay next to him. The next morning Aurelio pulls up with a tow trucks, sees the car, laments the torture it has been put through(and says "I thought you loved this car" see what had happened was), when asked if he can fix it he tells him yeah it will be done by 2030. John goes back inside and begins looking at photos of Helen and watching his favorite video of her on the beach. He then goes down stairs, puts everything back into the box he broke out of the floor the night his car was stolen, repairs the concrete and smooths it out. He hears a noise upstairs, there is a visitor at his door, Santino D'Antonio, John offers him coffee and they sit down for a chat. Santino is there to demand repayment of a marker, a marker given by John himself when he did his impossible task to be able to attempt his retirement THE FIRST TIME(you know that ended up with the stolen car and dead dog). John frantically begs Santino to take it back, he is not that guy anymore. "There are consequences to not obeying the marker John, I do not wish to do this." He pauses, "I need a man to do a job, but you are not that man." John bids him farewell and closes his door

To which Santino goes back to his crew, pops his trunk, pulls out a grenade launcher, loads it, and proceeds to blow up John's house. John is blown out of his living room and lands in the yard, he watches pictures of his beloved Helen burn and passes out. After being licked awake by his new dog, they begin walking, walking all the way to the Continental Hotel in New York. John asks to speak to the manager, inquires about boarding, and then walks over to see Winston. John informs Winston of his plight and Winston reminds him: if you deny the Marker, your life is forfeit. if you go after the holder of the marker your life is forfeit. If you do not complete the marker your life is forfeit so says the council of the High Table.  Winston then asks him, "What did he want you to do?" to which John replies, "I don't know I just told him NO." He tells him where to find Santino and John goes to find out for which task Santino D'Antonio has decided to wake the devil...

The important thing to understand about John Wick, is that you NEVER want to see John Wick the man John Wick not the movie. John Wick is described by characters in his movies as a man of SINGULAR FOCUS, DRIVE and WILL. It does not matter who is protecting you, where you are hiding, or how much money you have, if your name is on John Wick's ledger you WILL DIE. While John Wick showed the pains of a man trying to escape his old life only to be dragged in by someone ignorant of it's ways Chapter 2 builds a world of tradition, respect, and majesty. Yes, they are all crooks, criminals, cut throats, pirates, and assassins that does not mean they can't be civilized. Also Apparently the "Continental" is not a SINGLE hotel, but a Franchise and concierge for the criminal elite one that has locations all over the world. And the rule is the same the world over "No blood is to be spilled on Continental Grounds."  John Wick plays out like an old 80's action movie over the top action, lots of blood, lots of gun play, a few explosions, and relentless butt kickery(you know what blog this is shut it). By the way, I think John Wick beats out Porter for overall meanness when it comes to dispatching foes all the broken arms, nut shots, knee shots, slices, head slams, small packages, gut shots, and man what he did with that pencil. Seriously if I find out you have gotten on John Wick's bad side *cough cough* "sorry boss, I have sars." I ain got time, you bout to die and personally I don't know why I have to writhe in pain before being shot in the head because you pissed off the Devil, The Boogey Man, Silent Death, or whatever you want to call him when you lied to me and said he was retired but now he is at your door step basically acting like Death Incarnate and if I stay here my name MIGHT be on his list.

For the woman he loved, John Wick completed an impossible task for the man he owes for help in completing that task he only wishes to complete said boon before he returns to severe his connection to this mortal coil. Injuries will not stop him, NUMBERS will not stop him, the only thing that will end his quest for you life is the sight of your blood running down the drain and then he STILL might shoot you in the head. Yes John Wick is over the top, yes there is gratuitous violence, and YES somebody Please get this man a gun, and a shotgun, and a knife, some garrote wire, whatever that pointy object is over there that doesn't really look deadly but he's feeling inventive. Like who pisses off the guy who happily INVENTS a way to kill you with some innocuous object that would be considered innocent before John Wick decided that your liquid essence needed to become intimate with it? Did you plan 4 moves ahead? How did that work out for yo.... oh that's your brains leaking out on that rock, came with 5 buddies? We now need 50 pallbearers. John Wick is a legend in the criminal underworld, and we are about to see why.

Some would call this a popcorn flick, some might liken it to Commando(Eikichi), all I know is I was thoroughly entertained throughout this movie because they didn't worry about sane, realistic, or even proper they worried about shoot, stab, kill, maim, shoot, spike, Punch, Kick, throw, blow up, strangle, and then rinse repeat. Once John Wick leaves the smoldering remains of his home, it doesn't matter how your day started a lot of people are going to die, hopefully only the ones stupid enough to attempt to interfere with him, and who ever it is who decided to collect a debt owed by the Baba Yaga
